Minimalistic
This is a submission to the GMTK Game Jam 2024 in a group of 3 in 72 hrs. Built around the theme “Built to Scale,” the game explores visual illusions rather than literal size change. Inspired by Ponzo Illusion, Rubin’s Vase, and the Hollow-Face Illusion, each of the five levels uses a different optical principle, challenging players to shift perspective, compare shapes, and exploit visual discrepancies to progress.
Brainstorm
Led early ideation, defined the illusion-based concept, and shaped the five-level structure around different visual principles.
Design
Designed the full game—including mechanics, level flows, and puzzle logic—and coordinated how each illusion translated into gameplay challenges.
Art
Created stylized toon shader
in UE5. Designed all UI and menus, and integrated both
art and gameplay elements
into the engine.
Submission
Prepared the final jam build, polished all the materials, and handled the full submission process.
